Funny thing.
I was utterly down on my luck, living in a halfway house, scratching at the little devils colloquially known as crabs...Little Red Riding Whore?...and came across these incredible Hubble pictures in the paper. The spread held my attention for a long time, in fact, I hardly left my room, here and there emitting Gee Whiz mutterings to to the point where my keeper thought I should be locked up. They were doing one thing and I was doing another. They were looking at the specific and the immediate, viz, my obvious madness and I had my head in the stars, watching them form, from infancy to nova. I saw grotesque gargoyles in the dust.
Oh well. Last time I took the Roscharch test, everybody else saw a bat, and I saw a vagina.
How interesting that you should put the Crab nebula up. Kind of hard to imagine living colour out there in deep space, but there it is.
The usual "we are so insignificant" reaction, but then the whol fershlugginer thing can probably be bought at Wal-Mart.
Just like all those sunsets at Sears-Roebuck.
WTF

Ivan,

The wonders of those things greater than us amazes me. Where our 70 to 80 years on this planet is so insignicant, in the mass scheme of things, I shrink to it.

That Rorcharch test gets me to too, maybe its our desire to be sucked into the female abyss. I've been there and would like to return - soon.

Ah, dreamers and romantics...what would the world be without them?
